Mr Manuai Kametan

Manuai is one of the pioneers who was with NAC since its establishment in 2009. He started his career in 1978 with then Civil Aviation Agency before the transition to NAC. He has over 30 years of experience in Civil Engineering specializing in Airport Engineering and management including Head of Engineering, Head of Airports, Board Secretary and CADIP Program Director.

Manuai holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Airport Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore in 1993. He is also a member of the Institute of Engineers PNG (IEPNG).

Ms Romata Geno

Company Secretary

Romata is a lawyer by profession with a Degree in Law. She also has a Post Graduate in Law. She was admitted to the Bar in 2009 and was practicing law in Papua New Guinea before embarking on a corporate career. Companies Romata has worked for include Cardno, Kina Securities and Teachers Savings and Loans Society. She was the Legal Manager for Nasfund Savings and Loans before joining NAC. Romata is the company secretary to the board of NAC

Ms Noreen Gugumi

General Manager - Finance

Noreen is a certified Practicing Accountant and a member of the Certified Practicing Accountants of PNG. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the Pacific Adventist University. Noreen is also a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) Candidate of the Torrens University, Australia.

She specializes in Accounting, Taxation and Governance with over 22 years of experience in both public and private sectors.

Noreen has worked in a variety of industries and companies in PNG, including KPMG, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Kumul Minerals Holdings Limited (formally Petromin PNG Holdings Limited) and Ok Tedi Mining Limited.

In May 2018, Noreen joined NAC as the Financial Controller and held the role for 3 years, prior to her appointment on 2 June 2021 as General Manager Finance.

Mr Michael Tolimanaram

General Manager -Technical Services

Michael, holds a Bachelor in Engineering from the Papua New Guinea University of Technology, specialising in Civil Engineering. Prior to his current appointment as General Manager, Technical Services, Michael was overseeing NAC’s Regional Airports in the Highlands and Momase regions. Before joining NAC, Michael worked for several organisations including Newcrest at their Lihir Gold Mine, Lihir Business Services Ltd, PNG Power Ltd, and FTK Limited where he provided leadership and technical expertise on special projects.

Mr Wellington Warren

Mr Tom Nou

Program Director-JICA Project Implementation Unit

Tom is a registered Civil Engineer with 31 years of experience specializing in aerodrome engineering, contract management & project management. He started off his career in 1990 with then Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) as a Chief Engineer, before moving on to working with OTML prior to joining NAC in 2017 as a senior Project Manager with the Engineering Services Division. In 2020, he was appointed as the Project Director for the Project Management Unit (PMU) which manages all JICA-funded airport development projects including Nadzab Airport Redevelopment.
Tom holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the PNG University of Technology in 1989. Furthermore, he has attained Certificate in Airport Engineering from Singapore Aviation Academy (1994), Post Graduate Diploma in Airport Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore (1994), Certificate in Aerodrome Engineering, Tokyo, Japan (1997) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management, TAFE North Queensland, Australia (2014). He is also a member to the Institute of Engineers PNG (IEPNG).

Mr Mark Sahin

General Manager-Regional Airports

Mark Sahin, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, from the Papua New Guinea University of Technology. He graduated in 2003, specialised in Mechanical Engineering.

In 1981, Mark began his career in Aviation as an Apprentice Diesel Fitter. Upon graduating as a Tradesman in 1984, he worked his way up the ranks while transitioning with the PNG Aviation reforms from the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) to Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and currently with National Airports Corporation.

With 39 years of experience in aviation, Mark brings to the NAC Senior Management team, a wealth of knowledge and experience in Technical, Engineering and Airport Operations.
