Acting MD's Message

Greetings and Welcome

Thank you for visiting the official Website of the National Airports Corporation of Papua New Guinea.

NAC is a Papua New Guinean State Owned Enterprise, responsible for operating, maintaining and developing the country’s 22 identified national airports. The core of NAC’s business is about making sure that PNG’s national airport infrastructures, facilities and services are sustainable and are safe and secure for aircrafts and passengers. At NAC, we prioritise safety because we care about people’s lives.

Our national airports, facilitate air travel which enable our people to connect with each other and move cargo from one place to another. Our national airports also support and contribute to economic and social development in PNG. Since 2009, we began an important journey to rehabilitate most of PNG’s aging national airport infrastructures. This important work is progressing, and would not have been possible without the support of the PNG Government and our development partners, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Japan International Coorporation Agency (JICA).

Through the Civil Aviation Development Investment Program, we are seeing transformation of our airports in the form of runway extensions, new terminal buildings, high quality security fencing, pavement strengthening and other associated works.

I hope you will find our website useful in learning more about NAC and what we and our stakeholders are collectively doing in progressively lifting the standard of our national airports.

Thank you again for visiting our website. We value your feedback and experience on our website to support continuous improvement. Please send your suggestions and feedback to our Office of Strategy Management on email; OSM@nac.com.pg
